Mr. President,
The energy crisis caused by the war has had a detrimental impact on both the livelihoods of European families and the European economy as a whole. This situation is further aggravated by illegal migration and the growing pressures of the green transition.
We are in full agreement on the importance of supporting persons with disabilities and the elderly, as well as ensuring equality between men and women. Particular attention must be paid to families and to the employment opportunities of European citizens.
The success of the European economy can provide the necessary resources to strengthen our social systems. To achieve this, clear thinking and decisive action are required.
We say no to war and to illegal migration, but yes to improving competitiveness and safeguarding the sovereignty of the Member States. That is the Patriotic position.
